Powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, other key specs include a 5-megapixel rear camera, a front-facing VGA shooter and 8GB of internal storage.

The display measures 4.5 inches with a 854×480-pixel resolution, the sort of screen that was common in 2012 and 2013.

On a positive note, the LG phones run Android 5.1 Lollipop, the latest official release from Google. Also a plus, the device supports Sprint Spark, the carrier’s faster 4G LTE service.

Sprint Prepaid offers the device as the LG Tribute Duo while Virgin Mobile brands it as the LG Tribute 2. Already available through another Sprint prepaid brand, Boost Mobile, the new models carry a $100 no-contract price.
