There’s a new simple Samsung messaging phone available today at MetroPCS stores. The Samsung Freeform II (Samsung SCH-r360) is a candy bar phone whose QWERTY keyboard sits below a 2.2-inch QVGA display. Unlike its ruby red predecessor, the original Samsung Freeform, this sequel comes in black.
Texting and photo messaging are on board. You’ll also find a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and speakerphone.
There’s also an MP3 music player and a miscoSD slot that takes up to 16GB expandable memory.
It also comes equipped with several apps for MetroPCS services, like turn-by-turn MetroNavigator, MetroWeb Internet, instant messaging, mail@metro e-mail, and Metro 411 Directory Assistance.
The Samsung Freeform II will sell for $99.00 with a $50 instant rebate. Meanwhile, we still saw that the the original Samsung Freeform currently selling for $79.00 on MetroPCS’ Web site.
