Looks like AT&T will have some very tempting smartphone options this spring. The carrier just confirmed with us that the HTC Titan II, a high-octane Windows Phone, will cost $199.99 and land on shelves April 8.
This joins the upcoming HTC One X, HTC’s flagship Android handset along with Nokia’s premier Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 900.
Both the Nokia Lumia 900 and HTC Titan II will be the first Windows Phone devices to feature fast 4G LTE data connections. While the Lumia 900 will have a lower $99.99 entry price, AT&T perhaps expects the more expensive Titan II to entice buyers with its high-resolution 16-megapixel camera. Of course, the Lumia’s Carl Zeiss optics may trump the Titan II despite its lower 8-megapixel sensor.
Style may also be the deciding factor that the Lumia 900 has in spades. I can’t wait until these phones arrive to stack them head-to-head. In the meantime, check out our hands-on with the Nokia Lumia 900, HTC Titan II, and HTC One X to decide for yourself.
