T-Mobile and AT&T aren’t the only U.S. carriers jumping on the Windows Phone 7 express. During Microsoft’s launch event in New York City today, we also learned that the HTC 7 Pro would come to Sprint early next year.
Unlike most of the new handsets, the Pro 7 will feature a full QWERTY keyboard for messaging and e-mail. Up top is a 3.6-inch touch screen with a 800×480 resolution, while around the sides are a 3.5mm headset hack and a Micro-USB port.
Inside you’ll find a satisfying range of features like a 5-megapixel camera with HD recording and a LED flash; a 1GHz processor; Dolby Mobile and SRS surround sound; Bluetooth 2.1; Wi-Fi, proximity and ambient-light sensors; 512MB ROM; 576MB RAM; and up to 16GB of storage. We’re a little disappointed that data speeds top out at 3G EV-DO. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait long for a Windows Phone 7 device that taps Sprint’s growing 4G network.
