The Basic Plan, which typically offers 500MB of data for $40 per month, will increase to 1GB per month. The Smart Plan ($50/month) jumps from 2.5GB up to 3GB while the Pro Plan ($60/month) doubles from 5GB to 10GB per month. Cricket Wireless subscribers can save $5 on their monthly bill if they agree to sign up for the Auto Pay program. Both plans take effect this Saturday, September 13.
Cricket has been anything but quiet as of late, having also recently rolled out a $100 switcher credit. Customers who port their number from T-Mobile or MetroPCS can receive a Benjamin’s worth of bill credits just so long as they do so before October 19.
This week Cricket also announced a partnership with GameStop that expands its retail presence by some 3,000 locations.
