Thursday saw the announcement of a Data Boost plan that rewards customers for using automatic payments each month.
Instead of receiving 1GB of high speed data, Auto Re-Boost customers will score a cool 2.5GB of precious wireless nectar. Boost will continue to offer the standard 1GB plan for folks who don’t want to sign up for an automatic payment.
The Data Boost plan takes effect on February 3 and is available to both new and existing subscribers. For a limited time, those who port their number to the carrier are eligible to receive up to $100 off any new phone. Alternatively, new customers who do not bring their phone number to Boost will get their first month of service for free.
