According to the tipster, HTC will bump up the screen size of the original HTC One Mini from 4.3 inches to 4.5 inches. It’s unclear, however, whether the display will be 720p, 1080p, or another resolution. Should HTC position the phone in the space of the Moto G , we might expect a 720 pixel image.
Differing from the standard HTC One M8, the smaller model is said to feature only one camera on the backside. Citing costs as the reason, it’s suggested that HTC will stick with the UltraPixel camera found in last year’s HTC One Mini .
Presumably, HTC will employ the same Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 6.0 software combination for the upcoming device.
Given the rumored May debut, we may soon see an official announcement out of HTC. And, if last year’s models are an indicator, a larger HTC One M8 Max could loom on the horizon.
