The LG Optimus G Pro comes to the U.S. on AT&T

LG announced today that an over-the-air update for the LG Optimus G Pro is now available for users to download.
One new feature is Smart Video, which is similar to (if not exactly the same as) Samsung’s Smart Pause. It means video can be set to pause when users turn their heads and look away. There are also two new camera functions, one of which is Dual Camera (an offshoot of the G Pro’s Dual Recording mode), which takes photos from both cameras at the same time.

The other feature has already been available in the international unlocked version, and it makes it possible to pause and restart video while recording.
Moreover, improvements to the device’s Quick Remote functionality with LG Smart TVs have been added, and the smartphone can now be used to input text on TVs.
Lastly, color emoticons have been added for messaging, and the G Pro’s LED light around its home button can be customized. Notifications from favorite contacts can also be denoted with a specific color.
The 5.5-inch device is available exclusively on AT&T. Though its large screen may not be for everybody, we were impressed by its vivid display and swift Snapdragon 600 processor.
