It’s a busy week for LG.
The Korean electronics conglomerate’s Nexus 5X smartphone played a leading role in a Google event on Tuesday. Two days later, the company is hosting its own “Premiere” event in New York to show off the V10 smartphone and the LG Watch Urbane Second Edition. The company announced both products late Wednesday.
Highlights of the V10’s features include a secondary “ticker” screen above the main display, as well as two front-facing cameras for better selfies.
It’s the latest attempt by LG to build smartphones with unique features. The company has tried to create stand-out design traits in the past, including placing the power and volume button on the rear of its devices and creating a line of curved screen smartphones.
The LG Watch Urbane, meanwhile, is the first Android Wear smartwatch with cellular capabilities, allowing you to use it like a phone.
LG plans to formally introduce the devices and go into more details about them at its event. If you’re curious, check back here on Thursday before 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET. CNET will have an exclusive live-stream of the event.
