Forget about teasing the new devices it will reveal at Mobile World Congress in just a couple of weeks; LG just used Facebook to confirm its introduction of the LG G2 Mini at the Barcelona mobile show.
A Facebook post published Wednesday morning depicts a grid image of a miniaturized shoe, a starfish, and a cupcake alongside their full-size counterparts, ending with a smaller version of a phone that’s recognizably the LG G2, with its rear-panel controls.

If the hint weren’t enough, the image caption invites fans to “Experience the MINI. Mobile World Congress. 2014-02-24.”
LG hasn’t spilled all the beans yet. We still don’t know specs for sure, but phone-makers tend to pare down “mini” phones to midrange experiences, in addition to making them slightly smaller. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, HTC One Mini, and Motorola Droid Mini all follow this pattern, as does the iPhone 5C.
Rumors suggest that the G2 Mini will have at least Android 4.2.2 OS, a 4.3-inch qHD display (a 960×540-pixel resolution), and an 8-megapixel camera.
