While the earlier Bluetooth listing didn’t quite confirm the Galaxy S5 Prime (supposedly due in June), this set of leaked photos published on PhoneArena is further evidence of the existence of Samsung’s forthcoming metallic update to its flagship phone.

The three photos show off the phone’s aluminium chassis with brushed-metal edges, with a new speaker grill located at the bottom of the phone. The pictures also show off the phone’s vibrant display, but there’s no word on if this is in fact the rumored QHD screen with its staggering 2,560×1,440-pixel resolution.

Other rumored specs include 3GB of RAM and the same 16-megapixel camera as the S5 . It’s likely that the S5 Prime will come with the newest version of Android OS, as well as the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.

One photo shows off the phone’s metal back, but it looks very similar to the current dimpled plastic of the S5. While keeping to same design language is a good thing, it’s likely going to be difficult to tell the Prime and the S5 apart.

The S5 Prime is set to go head-to-head with the LG’s upcoming G3, which is also rumored to come with a metal chassis and QHD display.
