The 4-inch SE smartphone packs the same 64-bit A9 processor as its larger siblings, the iPhone 6 and 6S. It boasts a 12-megapixel camera and comes in four colours.

The SE will start from £359 for the 16GB model, and £439 for the 64GB model. Those prices are direct from Apple or other shops when you buy the phone on its own without a phone contract.

UK networks

So far, UK networks EE, Three and Vodafone have confirmed they will sell the iPhone SE on contracts. High-street store Carphone Warehouse and its own network iD have also confirmed they will carry the phone, as well as budget networks GiffGaff and Tesco Mobile. No doubt all the other UK networks and retailers will stock it, as usual.

Vodafone and EE are the first networks to confirm they will sell the iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro is a smaller, 9.7-inch version of the 12-inch iPad Pro launched last year.
