iPhone 5S on Three isn’t cheap, but has unlimited data

Three has revealed its pricing for the iPhone 5S, which hits shops today.

The numerical network’s tariffs aren’t exactly cheap, but do get you unlimited data — something that’s tough to find on other UK networks.

The 16GB iPhone 5S can be yours for £37 per month over two years and £99 up front, on the ‘Ultimate 500’ tariff that gets you 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited data.

The 32GB iPhone 5S also costs £99 up front, but will set you back £42 per month on the same plan, and the 64GB model costs £47 per month and — again — £99 up front.

Perhaps more compelling is the fact that Three won’t be charging any extra cash for its 4G service, which is being introduced in December. It’ll only be available in a handful of towns by the end of the year, but you won’t have to switch onto a separate 4G tariff when it is rolled out.

Three is also selling the new 8GB iPhone 4S for free up front, and £27 per month over 24 months. That’s not such a high price, but you are tying yourself to two years with a phone that’s already a little long in the tooth.
