The iPhone 5C could come in a variety of colours if leaked images of the phone’s packaging are to be believed.
Although the 5C has yet to be confirmed by Apple, photos published by iApps.im show iPod-style plastic packaging, with the iPhone 5C name printed on the side.
The packs are multi-hued, suggesting that the phone may come in colours such as blue, pink, yellow and more, adding credence to the rumour that the “C” stands for colour.
The iPhone 5C is rumoured to be a low-cost phone from Apple, with a plastic case and some functions, such as Siri, stripped to reduce the price.
The current speculation suggests that the iPhone 5C could cost between US$349 and US$399 for an unlocked handset.
If it does exist — and the evidence is certainly mounting — the phone is likely to be revealed alongside the iPhone 5S on 10 September during an Apple event.
