iPhone 4 on AT&T vs. Verizon (comparison chart)

After months of rumors and speculation, Apple has finally brought the iPhone 4 to Verizon Wireless. While much of the hardware remains the same, there are a couple of important differences.

Obviously, there’s the change from GSM to CDMA, which means the phone won’t be able to use voice and data simultaneously with current CDMA technology. Also, the Verizon iPhone will have mobile hot-spot capability, while the AT&T one does not. In the chart below, we’ve tried to document the differences between the two phones. While Verizon has not told us the iPhone 4’s data plan, we’ve included the carrier’s data plan on its current smartphones for the time being.
