Apple’s next version of iOS will be arriving on the iPhone and iPad on 18 September, the company has confirmed.
At at press conference today, the aluminium-coated company confirmed that iOS 7 will be out in just eight days, for free.
The update will be coming to the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, while the 5th generation iPod touch will also be getting it. The iPad 2 and iPad mini will also be updated.
iOS 7 will come pre-installed on any new Apple gear, including the long-rumoured new iPhone that Apple is currently in the business of detailing.
Apple also said that all its iWork apps will be made free for all new iOS devices.
