HTC has been on the ropes for a while, and 2012 was a particularly hard year during which the company saw shrinking revenue and profits. The once high flier hopes to regain some of its swagger with the latest product launch, but it faces stiff competition from the iPhone 5 and the next Galaxy S smartphone, which is rumored to debut in less than a month.
HTC will hopefully address those concerns with its event, which has already seen its share of leaks and rumors. Fans hope the company will be able to top last year’s One X, which got critical praise but didn’t sell particularly well.
As usual, we’ll be using ScribbleLive to bring you live text and photos, blow by blow. We’ll start the live blog about 15 minutes before HTC officially starts the event, so be sure to tune in.
