It’s only a few hours before HTC and Sprint unveil a mystery device, but Droid Life has already gotten its hands on a device it claims to be one and the same.
The device in question? The rumor mill has dubbed it the HTC Evo One, Sprint’s version of the HTC One X phone that was announced at Mobile World Congress last month.

The unit that Droid Life photographed here looks like it just came out of woodshop, but if this does prove to be the self-same Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset that becomes official later today, it’ll include at least one thing that the One X didn’t: a kickstand.
Now I love a good, useful kickstand, and it’s part of the Evo brand image, so that’s fine by me.
We already know a lot about the phone, from its 4.7-inch high-res screen to its 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and HTC Sense 4.0 interface. The global model has Nvidia’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor, which the AT&T version of the phone has replaced with a Qualcomm dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, since Nvidia’s chip wasn’t LTE-ready at the time of manufacture, according to HTC. I suspect that Sprint’s device will also utilize the same dual-core processor.
