Hide preinstalled apps on the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

Even though Samsung eased up on the amount of bloatware that normally accompanies its Galaxy phones, there are still plenty of preinstalled apps on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Some of them might be useful while other will just hog space in your app drawer.

For the latter, there’s an easy fix. You can’t uninstall these preinstalled apps to free up storage space, but you can hide them. Here’s how.

Step 1: Go to Settings > Applications > Applications Manager.

Step 2: Swipe left to reach the “ALL” tab.

Step 3: Find the app you want to disable, select it, then tap Disable.
