Android phone users may soon be able to see the Google+ photo of a caller due to a new feature in KitKat.
Google engineering director Attila Bodis announced in a Google+ post late Tuesday that the photo feature is part of the new Caller ID found in the latest flavor of Android. Once the feature launches in early 2014, Android users will be able to see who’s calling them, and vice versa.

A couple of conditions do apply.
Users have to verify their phone number with Google and make sure that discovery is enabled.
Bodis didn’t indicate if both you and your callers need to be running Android 4.4 KitKat. But assuming all the stars line up, the goal is to see a photo of someone without having to manually associate that person with an existing image.
Of course, if you’d rather the people you call not see what you look like, just make sure your phone number isn’t verified with Google or that discovery is disabled.
