Googs left a lot unsaid at its annual I/O conference this past May, with the software giant passing up the chance to hook developers on the next wave of its mobile OS and devices.
With the exception of the time, date, and location, there’s very little hinting at what we might see. What we do know is that Sundar Pichai will preside over the breakfast event, which is significant since Pichai took over Android chief Andy Rubin’s role when Rubin took on new projects.
On the device front, rumors and images circulating around a Nexus 7 tablet successor fan the flames that Google could introduce an update of the pure Android device.
