Gameloft prepping Android game giveaway for Black Friday weekend

Looking for some fun this weekend? If you own an Android device and have a Twitter account, start following @GameloftAndroid.

Starting on Black Friday and running all the way through Cyber Monday, Gameloft will offer a free game–but only for a two-hour period during each of the four days.

That means you’ll have to monitor your Twitter feed pretty closely–or at least set up an alert for hashtags #android and #free. Either way, kind of a hassle. Also, you must purchase the games via your Android device using the links embedded in Gameloft’s tweets. That leaves Kindle Fire users out of the running, as the freebies aren’t available via Amazon’s Appstore.

If you’d rather not fiddle with Twitter, Gameloft already has its entire Android game library on sale, with each title marked down to just 99 cents.

Some of the highlights there include BackStab, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, Real Soccer 2011, and The Oregon Trail.

As for the titles that’ll be given away this weekend, Gameloft hasn’t named them–you’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, hit the comments and let me know which games you’re hoping to score for free–and which ones you’ll grab for 99 cents.
