Galaxy Nexus pricing compared

Not unlike an iPhone launch, the major Aussie telcos have waited until the eleventh hour before announcing pricing for the new Android flagship Galaxy Nexus, with Telstra selling the device as of tomorrow.

All three major telcos will be offering the Galaxy Nexus on 24-month contract terms, with Vodafone also including the handset on 12-month contracts with a higher per-month handset repayment option.

Vodafone is pretty much neck-and-neck for pricing across all cost tiers, matching data inclusions as well as per-month prices. Telstra’s plan options don’t kick in until the AU$69 per-month price mark and its data allowances are significantly lower across the board. The Next G network does have a much better reputation for reliability and speed, so it may still be worth considering the service when weighing up the differences in price.
