Specifications obtained by Unwired View line up nicely with previous chatter for the so-called Facebook smartphone. Reportedly, HTC and AT&T will again collaborate on an Android smartphone targeted at Facebook addicts. It’s still unclear, however, how soon such a device would arrive on store shelves.

Hardware details for the HTC Myst apparently include a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. Additionally, the handset could feature a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. It is unknown whether the rear camera will employ an Ultrapixel sensor like the upcoming HTC One , though I suspect it will not.

There’s no indication either if the HTC Myst will feature a dedicated Facebook button. While the previous “Facebook phone,” the HTC Cha Cha, offered a portrait QWERTY keyboard, this handset appears to be a touch-only experience. Rounding out the specifications, the phone may include the requisite fare of connectivity options including Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, LTE, and HSDPA.

The smartphone should run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, too, and come with preinstalled Facebook apps such as Facebook Messenger and Instagram.
