The new site — not to be confused with SeeTickets — is open to all EE, Orange and T-Mobile customers. EE reckons “most tickets” are offered at a discount.
Building on existing ticket site Orange Fun Finder, EE Tickets is a partnership with Last Second Tickets, and lets you buy your way into gigs and events from McBusted or Simian Mobile Disco to comedy shows from the likes of Jack Whitehall and John Bishop, to one-offs like CBeebies Live, Dancing on Ice or A Conversation with John Travolta.
To keep you in the loop, you can also plug in what sort of events you like and sign up for free alerts when such events are announced.
Tickets, events and other perks are becoming increasingly important in the ever-more cut-throat world of phone networks. O2 heavily advertises its Priority service, which opens the box office early to O2 customers — especially for venues operated by O2. Vodafone has just binned its VIP service but is offering various perks to entice you into a 4G contract, such as free Spotify or Sky Sports membership.
