After nearly nine months of waiting, it seems we’ll finally see the Droid Bionic hit stores soon, with the rumored date of September 8.
We still don’t know for sure how much it will be, but Droid Life spotted a leaked Verizon document that priced the highly anticipated phone at a whopping $299 after a two-year contract. We’re of the opinion that anything around $249 is pretty expensive, and $299 strikes us as overpriced. Unless, of course, the Droid Bionic has amazing features we don’t even know about, like the capability to shoot lasers.
The Droid Bionic looks great on paper. It has a 4.3-inch qHD display, dual-core 1GHz processors, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a front-facing camera, HDMI mirroring, Verizon LTE support, enterprise-level features, and more.
Some leaked details yesterday also revealed laptop dock support, which is similar to the Atrix 4G. Other features would include wireless printing, ZumoCast (remote file access), a mobile hot spot for up to eight devices, and a trio of microphones.
What do you guys think about the Droid Bionic? Is $299 too much for you? Let us know in the comments.
