Ahoy there! If the movie Captain Phillips floats your boat, when you download it from Sainsburys you also get a copy of the nail-biting true story on which the film was based.
Captain Phillips is a 2013 movie directed by British helmer Paul Greengrass and starring Tom Hanks as the titular seafarer, who faced off with Somali pirates when his cargo ship the MV Maersk Alabama was hijacked in 2009.
Between 10 February — next Monday — and 16 February, when you download the film from sainsburys.co.uk you get a voucher for a free eBook of the book that inspired the film, A Captain’s Duty: Somali Pirates, Navy SEALs, and Dangerous Days at Sea by the real-life Cap’n Richard Phillips with Stephan Talty.
The film costs £9.99 to download.
