Boost Mobile to sell iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus

Boost Mobile, the prepaid service provider owned and operated by Sprint, will start selling the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the company announced on Tuesday.

Boost is keeping details close to the vest for now, saying only that the new Apple smartphones are in fact coming to the service. A Sprint spokeswoman declined to provide CNET any information on Boost’s pricing or when the devices would be made available.

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launched last week to much fanfare. Apple announced that it sold 10 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units in their first weekend of availability, setting a new record for new smartphone sales at the company.

Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are currently available at all major carriers. Retailers include Best Buy, Walmart, Sam’s Club, RadioShack, Target and Staples.
