Phonemaker Blu Products wants to take out better-known Motorola’s Moto G with its own budget model. The Blu Life One X generally sells for $150 unlocked, but is on sale through December 12 for $100.
US-based Blu has been among the more prolific unlocked-phone vendors in the last few years, releasing a steady stream of smartphones stamped with its brand. Like those sold by Alcatel and ZTE, these phones offer promising hardware for a price that undercuts better-advertised phones sold through carriers.
