According to Reuters, which obtained a note from Jefferies analyst Peter Misek, checks across the U.K. and Canada “indicate broad sellouts with generally limited stock otherwise.”

“Based on our store checks, the BlackBerry Q10 has been selling extremely well and has been sold out or seeing limited availability in Toronto and across the U.K.,” Misek said.

The BlackBerry Q10 launched earlier this week in the U.K. and Canada. It’s expected to hit U.S. markets some time in May or June.

The handset scored a relatively strong review from CNET’s Brian Bennett, who awarded it with 3.5 stars out of five. He said that the Q10 “is a great phone for QWERTY diehards and e-mail addicts, but anyone who doesn’t need a physical keyboard should skip it.”
