So what better way to state its case than by throwing out a few impressive statistics? BlackBerry spent the better part of Tuesday morning during its BlackBerry Live conference attempting to drum up support and enthusiasm for its platform.
Oh, and the venerable handset maker also used the occasion to unveil its BlackBerry Q5 phone, a device intended for emerging markets that will arrive sometime this summer.

Number of apps available on BlackBerry World: 120,000
Number of carrier approvals for Q10: 200
Number of countries selling BlackBerry 10 devices: 14
Number of BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 servers installed globally: 12,000
Number of retail outlets selling BlackBerry 10 devices: 50,000
Number of trained sales representatives: 50,000
Percentage of BlackBerry users who are women: 56 percent
Number of people who have watched BlackBerry’s Keep Moving videos: 22 million
Number of BBM users: 60 million
