Want to be ahead of the curve? The curvy, flexible LG G Flex 2 is going on sale across the world in the next few weeks.
LG says the US, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany and the UK will be among the first to see the G Flex 2 on shop shelves. Selected countries in the rest of North and South America, Europe and Asia will then see the phone announced in the next few weeks.
Exact details for each country (including price) have yet to be confirmed, but one of the first retailers to flex its muscles is the UK’s Carphone Warehouse. Pre-orders are open now for the phone, which is expected to be delivered in the week of 16 March.

In the US, AT&T, Sprint and US Cellular have announced plans to carry the device. In the UK, Vodafone has announced plans to stock it exclusively for six weeks after launch.
The G Flex 2 has already launched in Korea.
Revealed in January at tech industry beano CES 2015, the G Flex 2 is the second generation of LG’s curved phone. Not only is it curved — like a banana — to fit around your face as you chat, but the phone actually flexes, bending and then springing back when you press down on it. We awarded the G Flex 2 an excellent four stars in our in-depth review , noting that in its second incarnation the unique arched design was now matched with the killer screen and cutting-edge processor it deserved.
The screen is now a 1080p display, with the latest Snapdragon 810 processor inside. It’s smaller, thinner and lighter than the original G Flex, which makes it more manageable in your hand and easier to manoeuvre. Given the unusual design you might want to try it out in a shop before ordering, as it isn’t the most comfortable fit in your pockets.
On the plus side, it’s designed to spring back into position when you press down on it, and it’s scratch-proof so it will stand up to more abuse than most.
