AT&T has unveiled its latest lineup of Samsung devices, including two smartphones, a tablet, and a tweener smartphone/tablet hybrid.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 2 were already unveiled at earlier Samsung events.
In addition, AT&T will sell the lower-end Samsung Galaxy Express, which AT&T said will target first-time smartphone users, and the rugged Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro. Prices and availability details are still forthcoming, although the carrier said they would available “in the coming months.”

The Galaxy Note 2 is the next jumbo phone from Samsung, which has pushed to expand the smartphone category into a hybrid category many refer to as “phablet.”
The Note 2’s screen is slightly larger than the original Galaxy Note, 5.5 inches over the 5.3 debut. It will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the U.S.’s first 1.6 GHz quad-core processor (from Samsung’s Exynos line,) and most of the whistles and bells from the Samsung Galaxy S3 flagship smartphone, plus a capacitive stylus for productivity, writing, and drawing.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 2 marks another attempt by Samsung to establish a foothold in the tablet business. While the business is dominated by Apple and iPad, Samsung has been aggressive in offering different variations of the tablet. The Tab line is seen as a lower-cost alternative to the higher-end Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, which also comes with a stylus.
Newly announced today are the Samsung Galaxy Express and Galaxy Rugby Pro. The 4G LTE Galaxy Express, which Samsung is aiming at first-timers, reintroduces the Super AMOLED Plus display technology on a large, 4.5-inch screen. There’s also a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a large 2,000 mAh battery, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. The phone will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Meanwhile, the Rugby Pro is a rugged smartphone built to military specifications, allowing it to withstand water, shock, and dust. It has a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with 720p HD video recording capability. The phone will also include corporate e-mail support and access to a walkie-talkie-like push-to-talk feature.
