AT&T launches LTE version of 7

Consumers looking for the new LTE flavor of Samsung’s 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 can now pick one up through AT&T.

The carrier’s Tab 3 order page shows the tablet selling for $299.99 regularly. But buyers can trim that down to $199 by choosing the standard two-year agreement. Alternatively, subscribers can opt for AT&T’s Next plan, which eliminates the down payment in favor of monthly installments of $20 each.

Buyers can further slash the price of the Tab 3 to $99.99 with a two-year agreement by adding the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, or Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to their purchase.

Samsung offers the Tab 3 in three screen sizes — 7 inches, 8 inches, and 10.1 inches. But the specs for the 7-inch Tab 3 are skimpy compared with those of its bigger brothers and some rival 7-inchers. The device comes with a 1,024×600 display, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage.
