AT&T launches 4G LTE in 22 new markets

AT&T confirmed on Wednesday that another 22 markets have officially started seeing the network’s 4G LTE data speeds.

The news arriving just one week after announcing network coverage for 200 million people, AT&T’s LTE footprint now tallies 261 markets across the country.

The new markets are:

LTE deployment is now moving along rather quickly for AT&T; the carrier expects to blanket 300 million people by the end of 2014. By comparison, Verizon’s LTE network is nearing 500 markets, while Sprint’s LTE currently serves 88 markets.
