If you’ve been holding out for news regarding HTC’s flagship superphone, the HTC One X, today is your lucky day. AT&T just confirmed it will begin shipping the Android Ice Cream Sandwich device on May 6 for $199.
We knew the One X was slated to hit AT&T’s lineup soon but until now the details were all just smoke, mirrors, and speculation. Of course this version of the HTC One X will not feature a fire-breathing quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU like its European sibling. Still, HTC has said the 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU and supporting chipset provide better battery life without sacrificing performance.
Also, just like the HTC One S, which T-Mobile will bring to the U.S. Market along with the upcoming HTC Evo 4G LTE for Sprint, the One X will boast a powerful camera and HTC’s new Sense 4.0 user interface.
