AT&T announces Pantech Pursuit II

Pantech and AT&T just announced the Pantech Pursuit II, a successor to the Pantech Pursuit messaging phone that launched a year ago.

It has a similar rounded design to its predecessor, plus what looks to be a similar 2.8-inch QVGA touch-screen display. However, it has a vertical sliding keyboard instead of a horizontal one. Other features of this BREW phone include a 2-megapixel camera and camcorder, quad-band GSM and 3G support, GPS, and a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards. It will be available for $49.99 after rebates and a new two-year service agreement on July 17.
