Asus has a new smartphone in the works, it seems.
The company recently presented its smartphone strategy, and in a leaked slide obtained by Engadget, a previously unknown device, the MemoFone HD 5 was unveiled.
Asus didn’t provide any details on the handset or when it might launch. However, the company did note that the smartphone will be available to U.S.-based customers, and is designed for those who want a single smartphone that doesn’t rely on on a tablet for complementary features.
CNET has contacted Asus for more details on the handset. We will update this story when we have more information.
