“This should brighten everyone’s day.”
Those are the words gracing the invite Apple has sent out to the media. The event is scheduled for 10 September, and will take place at Apple HQ in Cupertino, California.
It’s expected that Apple will reveal two new iPhones: the top-end iPhone 5S and the lower-end iPhone 5C. The 5C is expected to come in a variety of colours, and both the design of the invite and the tagline add some weight to this particular rumour.
The event should also see the formal launch of the redesigned iOS 7, but is unlikely to feature any additional hardware, such as iPads or Macs.
CNET will provide coverage from the event, and we’ll have more details on how to watch it all unfold coming next week.
