The iPhone 6 will arrive as early as September in two screen sizes, according to Japan’s largest business daily.

The next-generation iPhone 6 “will likely be offered in 4.7- and 5.5-inch versions,” Nikkei reported in its Friday edition. The current iPhone 5S has a 4-inch screen.

The displays will be made in Japan by Sharp at its Kameyama factory and at Japan Display’s Mobara plant, as well as other facilities, according to the report.

“Mass production of LCD panels will start as early as the April-June quarter,” Nikkei said, citing sources.

LG Electronics will supply displays as well.

The display resolution will be “significantly” higher than that of the iPhone 5S, the report said, though no specifications were given.

A report on Wednesday from Digitimes said battery suppliers have received orders from Apple for the future iPhone.

On Monday, UBS analyst Steve Milunovich said his checks with the chain of suppliers suggest the iPhone 6 is most likely to arrive in August or September— rather than June.

Milunovich claimed, however, that while a 4.7-inch screen is “certain,” a larger model with a 5.5-inch display “may or may not launch” at the same time.
