Until today, Android phone users couldn’t experience the power, simplicity, and allure of the Jawbone Up24 activity tracker first-hand. That’s all in the past because the wireless gadget and superb companion mobile app have now officially found a home in the Google Play store.
Despite its lack of a screen, the Jawbone Up24 is one of the more capable and elegant fitness trackers around. A huge part of the wrist-borne device’s appeal is its cleanly-designed mobile application. First, the software intuitively presents the Up24’s numerous bells and whistles such as silent alarms, sleep tracking, and pedometer.
Secondly, the Up app (version 3.0) provides personalized insights front-and-center based on recorded behavior and logged performance. For example, the app may suggest an earlier bedtime to increase the chances you get more quality sleep. Additionally, the Up app facilitates one of the most headache-free Bluetooth setup procedures I’ve encountered. Trust me, I’ve seen a lot of hair-pullers in my day.
That’s why it’s such welcome news that the Up24 has brought its talents to the Android side of the house. For more info about the Jawbone, Up24 check out our full review. I also plan to update my assessment of the product shortly based on Jawbone Up 3.0’s fresh Android availability.
