Android Market won’t download apps: an easy workaround

More than once we’ve been stuck waiting indefinitely for a page to load on the Android Market on our phone. It seems to affect some apps, but not others. If you’ve come across the same problem, there’s a way that you can still get the app you want.

Simply pull yourself up to a real browser on a laptop or otherwise, and hit up the Android Market’s web page. Log-in using the same Google account you use on your phone, then search for the app you want and hit the Install button. You then get the option of which Android device you want to send the app to. Select the appropriate one, then click the install button.

Your phone/tablet should start downloading the app in a few moments.
