The Sprint EVO 4G by HTC natively supports what is called A2DP and AVRCP. These are the two pieces of the puzzle that allow stereo audio to be streamed wirelessly via Bluetooth and controlled wirelessly for play, pause, skip, etc. So if you’re having trouble getting audio to stream to your Bluetooth headset, it’s most likely that your headset simply doesn’t support these protocols. You’ll want to switch to a Bluetooth headset or speaker that does and the EVO should automatically recognize and enable this functionality during pairing.

I’ve heard you guys say a few times that the bad thing about Samsung phones is that they have Bing as the search provider. Well I can say that’s simply not true, at least not in all cases. I’ve had a Galaxy S Captivate on AT&T and my current phone is the unlocked international version of the Galaxy S II and neither had Bing. They are Google all the way.
Just wanted to get that out there so people wont be scared away by the thought of Bing being on their android.

Hey Android Atlas-
I’m tired of my Eclair-based Samsung Vibrant, but the mini-Kies update isn’t working for me and I can’t find a stock Froyo or Gingerbread for my phone. I want to try Cyanogen, but it looks like I need to have a good back up. A few questions that aren’t clear to me:
1) By using Cyanogen, will it update my version of Android?
2) Is there a good back up program to back up my phone to my Mac or PC?
I live in Uganda and have pre-paid data and uploading my entire phone to the cloud isn’t feasible, but I want to save my Angry Birds score critical business information. Any tips would be appreciated!
