AT&T began deploying Android 5.0.1 for its LG G3 variant on Tuesday. The carrier will automatically push the roughly 700MB update over the air, but eager users can also manually search for the file by navigating to Settings>General>About phone>Software Update.

HTC has also commenced its Android 5.0 update for both the Sprint and T-Mobile versions of the One M8 . It, too, comes in the form of an over-the-air file of about 700MB.

This One M8 update is a little late, falling just outside of HTC’s 90-day update window from the time that a new OS arrives to the time it makes its way onto existing phones, but only by a small margin. Besides, HTC has still managed to push Lollipop through ahead of most other companies.

The latest version of Google’s mobile platform currently powers approximately 1.6 percent of all Android devices. Given the recent spate of updates, the needle should move quickly for Lollipop as more and more Android phones graduate from KitKat to Lollipop.
