Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update on Google Nexus 4 in UK

Jelly Bean 4.3 is heading for British shores. The very latest version of Android is reported to have begun landing on Google Nexus 4 phones.

Have you got your update yet? Google’s flagship phone is the first to get new features with each Android update. 4.3 includes a range of small changes, including autocomplete when dialling phone numbers and improved Bluetooth.

Languages are updated, adding Hindi, Africaans and selected languages that are read right-to-left.

Perhaps the biggest 4.3 change is the introduction of multiple user profiles, allowing you to share your Android device without worrying about friends, family and other halves accidentally deleting your stuff or seeing things they shouldn’t.

4.3 should be available soon as an over-the-air update, so you don’t have to plug your phone into your computer to update to cutting-edge Android excitement. The download is 169.3MB so you might want to hop on the nearest Wi-Fi rather than chew through your data allowance.

Android 4.3 was unveiled last week aboard the new Google Nexus 7 7-inch tablet. As a relatively small update, fingers crossed 4.3 heralds exciting big changes in the long-awaited Key Lime Pie, the next update after the current Jelly Bean.
