Print-making site SnapBox uses its background in fine art reproduction to deliver high-quality, affordable prints for consumers. It started in 2012 with simple framed canvas prints and expanded its offerings last year to include fine art paper and peel-and-stick fabric posters. Now, it’s added pillows to the mix.

For $35, you can take your favorite photos — whether they’re from your phone or camera — and have them printed onto a high-quality sueded 18×18 pillow.

To test it out, I used a 3-megapixel picture taken with a Galaxy S5 and the results are impressive. It is, however, a one-sided print: the back is a neutral beige color.

Snapbox certainly isn’t the only printmaker to offer pillows, but the quality here is excellent, they’re completely machine washable without damaging the print and filled with 100 percent allergy-friendly fiber.

If you’re struggling for a Mother’s Day gift, it’s a quick and easy option that can be handled entirely from a phone or tablet. Snapbox will even show you a proof of what it’ll look like before you order. Plus, the pillows are manufactured at one of three US facilities and ship just a few days after you order.
