We don’t normally promote products that are hunks of junk on CNET, but when we do, we’re usually talking about something based on Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon freighter from the “Star Wars” universe.

UK-based retailer TheFowndry is now accepting preorders for a multitool that looks exactly like the Millennium Falcon, though fortunately on a much smaller scale since it’s designed to be about the size of a typical wallet.

The tool is made out of stainless steel, and has 11 different functions including a screwdriver, bottle opener, letter/parcel opener and some box-end wrenches. You can read more about it on the product page.

I’m not saying Chewie, Han or anyone else aboard the Falcon might have had an easier time fixing the troubled hyperdrive if they had one of these in hand, but it certainly wouldn’t have made things worse.

You can preorder the Millennium Falcon multitool from TheFowndry for £9.99 (about $15.50, AU$20 — plus shipping), with delivery expected shortly after the gadget’s September 2015 release.

And if you have a home project just waiting to be finished, maybe you’d be more inspired if you were wielding the geekiest hunk-of-junk multitool in the galaxy.
