Samsung Nexus 10 manual pops up, offers design clues

What looks to be an instruction manual for the Samsung Nexus 10 has appeared online, offering clues as to the design of this hotly-tipped tablet.

LG may be making an upcoming Nexus smart phone, but Samsung looks likely to lay claim to the next raw-Android powered tablet if these mysterious pages, spotted by the Verge, are anything to go by.

The manual appears to have come via a Korean website, and paint a picture of a rounded device with bulging sides, as well as a great big Nexus logo on its rear.

Beyond that there’s not a lot we can glean, but those of you who own an HD telly will be interested to see a micro HDMI port labelled on the Nexus 10’s sides.

Previous rumours suggest that this intriguing tablet will boast an astonishingly high-resolution screen, with a 2,560×1,600 pixel resolution mentioned on more than one occasion.

If this tablet is real, I’ve a good idea of when we might get to glimpse it — Google is planning an event on 29 October, when we’re expecting to hear some important Android announcements.

It’s been a good day for Nexuses (Nexi?), as earlier today Carphone Warehouse’s pre-order page for the LG Nexus 4 went live. The page has since been taken down, but not before teasing a 4.7-inch screen with a 768×1,280 pixel resolution, an 8-megapixel camera and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Oh, and a 30 October delivery date.

Would you buy a big Nexus tablet? Or do cheap options like the £160 Google Nexus 7 scratch your Android itch? Tell me in the comments or on our Facebook wall.
