The picture says it all on this one.
On Black Friday, Barnes & Noble will be selling its highly-rated Nook Simple Touch for $79. That’s a $20 price drop and matches the price of Amazon’s entry-level non-touch, ad-supported Kindle With Special Offers. The Nook Simple Touch has no ads.
The company is calling it a “Limited Edition,” and while it doesn’t seem any different from the $99 model that’s on sale now, on second glance the border/edging is white instead of black (the new color scheme has been confirmed by Barnes & Noble).
The usual “while supplies last” disclaimer applies here, so get to your local Barnes & Noble store early to get your hands on one. (Note: Each Best Buy will also have a few–at least 10–Nook Simple Touches priced at $79 on Black Friday as doorbuster items).
If you don’t get on this deal, it’s worth noting that Barnes & Noble does have some refurbished (Certified Pre-owned) Nook Simple Touch units for $79. Also, for more Barnes & Noble Black Friday deals, click on this link to get a complete summary.
