LG has officially taken the wraps off its much-rumoured G Pad tablet.
The 8.3-inch G Pad features a WUXGA display (1920×1200 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor and a 4600mAh battery. The tablet will be running Android 4.2.2.
Camera wise, there’s a 5-megapixel camera on the rear and a forward-facing 1.3-megapixel camera on the front. It’ll be available in black or white, and have 16GB of storage.
The device will join the LG G2 flagship phone, with the company saying that the G Pad is “reinforcing LG’s commitment to leadership in advanced mobile devices through its premium G-Series products”.
The G Pad is expected to be available in the US, European and Asian markets by Q4 2013. No formal news of an Australian launch or pricing has been given.
